Between 18-20 April 2018, in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, the meeting of the 27th General Assembly of the Interregional Association for Standardization (IRSA) was held at the initiative of the Turkish Standards Institute. The representative of our company, Mr. Vadim Șargarovschi - director of SE "TCISC", was present at the meeting along with colleagues from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Moldova, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Turkey and Cyprus. The Turkish Ambassador Mr. Muhittin Ahmet Yazal, and President of the Turkish Standards Institute, Mr. Sebahittin Korkmaz attended the meeting in Ulaanbaatar.

The meeting took place in a favorable atmosphere of communication, with an exchange of views and discussions on the development and implementation of the strategies and policies in the field. Were agreed to establish mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, to strengthen the potential of specialists, to implement programs in the field of standardization, accreditation, inspection, certification and metrology. The Protocol of the 27th General Assembly of the IRSA, was established with all the decisions taken at the meeting.

At the meeting, two certification schemes were approved:
MAC / BASB Certification Staff Scheme - Conformity Assessment Requirements - Lift Inspection Specialist;
MAC / BASB Certification Scheme - Conformity assessment requirements - calibration specialist;
